About Al

Al was known by many for his little woody dolls...one in particular named Oid!

Oid was made in 2010 by Al to be official superhero mascot of Operation Interdependence, Inc. (www.oidlievers.org) of which he was a volunteer state manger for. (His beloved wife of 38 years he left behind is the National President of O.I.)

Over the years Oid "grew" and was featured in many ads for O.I. which were all drawn by Al.  Then Oid gained friends!

At the time of Al's passing in December 2014 there were hundreds of these "Oid's and Friends" around; coast to coast!

Al may no longer be with us but Oid still lives on and has a large collection of fans! For all the fans out there, this page is for you!  So, sit back and enjoy "Oid and Friends" here as you scroll through Al Carley's online collection of artwork!
